Flashback: Topping out the Tiger Woods Learning Center
Today we flash back to a monumental date in the development of the Tiger Woods Learning Center: the topping-out ceremony! On May 5, 2005, Mayor Curt Pringle and city officials joined then-Tiger Woods Foundation president Greg McLaughlin for the topping-out ceremony, celebrating a construction tradition and marking a milestone in the facility’s construction.
Positive Youth Development Theory: The foundation of the TWLC
“The measure of the health of a society is how well it takes care of its youngest generation. By this standard we fail,” wrote the late psychologist Dr. Peter Benson in his 1997 groundbreaking book “All Kids Are Our Kids.”
