Your February Checklist

There may still be a chill in parts of the country, but we are hopeful for an early spring. Between a mix of holidays and days to note, the Tiger Woods Foundation has a few suggestions for capping off the winter season strong.

Groundhog Day (Feb. 2) – I am certainly ready for sunny skies and golf weather, so let’s give the groundhog a little encouragement to stay above its burrow.

Farmers Insurance Open (Feb. 5-8) – We will be watching our founder seek an eighth Farmer’s Insurance Open title at Torrey Pines. Will you?

Have you met Rick? (Feb. 9) – Have you met our new president and CEO Rick Singer? Read his reflection on 2014 as he shares Tiger’s vision, and follow him on Twitter (@TWFSinger) for inside access to TWF!

Friday the 13th (Feb. 13) – For those who are superstitious, donate to the Tiger Woods Foundation and turn that bad luck into good. Your donation helps break the cycle of poverty through education.

Valentine’s Day (Feb. 14) – Celebrate with the ones you love, and eat plenty of chocolate.

From the founder (Feb. 17)  – We asked the man behind the vision, Tiger Woods, for the takeaway on 2014 and his thoughts on providing education opportunities to students worldwide.

Pay it forward (Feb. 23) – At the Tiger Woods Foundation, our supporters, mentors and friends are some of the most generous people we know. Spread the positive vibes around town with a random act of kindness, whether it’s a free latte on you or simply a “thank you.”

(Feb. 26) – Since the weather will be idyllic again soon, it’s time to dust off the golf clubs and prepare to take on summer. Meet Roman, our golf instructor at the Tiger Woods Learning Center in Anaheim, California as he tells us what juniors learn in our golf programs.
