Woods Exhibition Headlined Day Two of the Tiger Woods Invitational

Day two at the Tiger Woods Invitational presented by USLI was all about the golf, with plenty of epicurean and entertainment delights mixed in. Before guests took on the Shore Course at Monterey Peninsula Country Club, they were treated to a gourmet brunch overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Following breakfast, guests hit the range to warm-up and grab the best seat in the house for the private golf exhibition with event host Tiger Woods. Tiger entertained the crowd with swing tips, talked about his favorite major championship, plans for the 2019 season, and thoughts on his 80th victory.

Following the exhibition, guests took a few minutes to apply all the priceless lessons Tiger taught them on the range before teeing off for round two. Tiger was able to spend some time with his mentee Sammy Mohammed, a freshman at Stanford University, who is a member of the Earl Woods Scholar Program. Tiger showed Sammy, who is new to golf, a few putting tips while Sammy helped Tiger to learn how to code on a Sphero, a robot ball used at the TGR Learning Lab. Both proved to be fast learners.

Once the tournament resumed, the golfers faced a stiff challenge. The Shore Course played tough, showing its teeth as a regular course in rotation for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, but that fact did not seem to bother any of golfers.

Regardless of how hard the course played, all was quickly forgiven with a toast of Far Niente as guests arrived back at the clubhouse.

Staying with the theme of golf, guests returned to The Lodge at Pebble Beach for the post-round reception presented by Fiji Water overlooking the Pacific. The evening was loaded with signature dining stations thanks to Chef Brown of Pebble Beach, craft cocktails and live entertainment.

Of course, the Tiger Woods Invitational reception was also full of fun golf themed activities, including the Chippo Golf night golf chipping station.

The highlight of the evening was once again the annual glow golf competition. Tiger and guests took their best shot to get closest to the pin on the famed 18th green at Pebble Beach with a glow in the dark golf ball.
