Winter Workshop: Yani’s journey

At the beginning of this month, the TGR Learning Lab in Anaheim, California, was home to the seventh annual Earl Woods Scholar Winter Workshop. Over the course of three days, 64 of our Earl Woods Scholars discussed matters most important to them — college, careers and overcoming and triumphing over life’s obstacles. It was a poignant, important three days for the scholars and TWF staff alike. 

In today’s post, we hear from Yani Udiani, a recent North Carolina State University graduate. With a degree in physics, Yani speaks candidly about the struggles he faced during his first year of college and the inner-perseverance he channeled to bring his dreams to fruition.
