Winter Workshop: James’ journey

It was just last week when we kicked off our seventh annual Earl Woods Scholar Program Winter Workshop. Sixty-four of our Earl Woods Scholars traveled to our flagship TGR Learning Lab in Anaheim, California, and spent three days in seminars, workshops, panel discussions and mock interviews — all to bolster their success in college and prepare them for the road ahead. 

The Graduation Celebration Luncheon, a hallmark of the Winter Workshop, brings to the stage our graduating seniors and gives them the opportunity to share their personal and academic journey.

Today, we hear from James Green, who overcame a rough childhood in Ohio, and will be graduating proudly this spring from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Science in criminology, with a concentration in homeland security and a minor in intelligence analysis.
