TGR Learning Lab shines spotlight on Nadia Chavelas

The TGR Learning Lab expanded learning program fulfills the mission of TGR Foundation by empowering youth through exposure, preparation and skill development for the workforce of tomorrow. With more than 50 courses available for middle and high school students to engage in after school, our mission is brought to life as participants discover their passions and turn them into purpose.

This month we shine a student spotlight on Nadia Chavelas. Nadia is a freshman at Cypress High School and has taken several courses at the flagship TGR Learning Lab in Anaheim, CA. In a recent interview, she shared what she’s enjoyed most during her time at the lab, her favorite classes and her greatest source of inspiration.

TGR Foundation: What are five words that best describe you?

NC: Five words that best describe me are hard-working, curious, caring, encouraging and unstoppable.

TGRF: Describe someone or something that has inspired you greatly.

NC: Someone that has inspired me greatly is my mom because she has always pushed me to succeed and given me advice to try my best no matter what.

TGRF: Why do you enjoy coming to the TGR Learning Lab after school?
