Darius Rucker to perform at Tiger Jam 2017
We are excited to announce that Darius Rucker will perform at the 19th annual Tiger Jam private concert on Saturday, May 20. The two-day charity event returns this month to the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas for a star-studded weekend of world-class golf, high-stakes poker, gourmet cuisine and exclusive VIP experiences benefitting the Tiger Woods Foundation’s college-access programs.
Rucker first attained multi-platinum status in the music industry as former lead singer and rhythm guitarist of GRAMMY award-winning Hootie & the Blowfish. Since re-introducing himself to the world as a country artist, he has released four consecutive albums to top the Billboard Country albums chart and earned a whole new legion of fans. In 2014, Rucker won his third career GRAMMY award for Best Solo Country Performance for his triple platinum selling cover of Old Crow Medicine Show’s “Wagon Wheel,” off his album, True Believers. Rucker’s heartfelt new single, “If I Told You” is currently Top 15 and climbing the country charts.
Tiger Jam will kick off on Friday, May 19 at the MGM Grand with Tiger’s Poker Night presented by the World Poker Tour® (WPT®), an exclusive charity poker tournament. For an $11,000 buy-in, participants will have an opportunity to play with some of the world’s top poker players and a host of celebrity guests.
Prior to Saturday evening’s live concert at MGM Grand, guests can participate in a morning golf outing at the elite Shadow Creek golf course, a bucket list course among avid golf fans and players for its dramatic landscapes, sparkling creeks and lush gardens.
The main event begins on Saturday, May 20 with a VIP reception featuring live and silent auctions filled with luxury items and one-of-a-kind experiences. Following the intimate concert with Rucker, the evening will conclude with an epic post-party celebration.
A variety of VIP packages are available for attendees to create their ultimate Vegas experience. For more information on 2017 Tiger Jam opportunities, click here or call Matt Cusick at 949-725-3003.
