Tiger rides wave of momentum into Augusta National

Riding a nice wave of momentum, Tiger Woods returns to competition next week in the 77th Masters Tournament at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Ga. A winner of four green jackets, he enters having won his last two starts and has regained No. 1 in the Official World Golf Ranking for the first time since late October 2010.

Tiger started his 2013 PGA TOUR season by capturing the Farmers Insurance Open. In his last two events, he won the WGC-Cadillac Championship and the Arnold Palmer Invitational and has now accumulated 77 career victories, second only to Sam Snead (82) on the all-time list.

Woods, who played a practice round at Augusta last week, ranks first in the FedExCup point standings and on the money list. He also leads the TOUR in scoring (68.334) and strokes gained putting (1.476).
