Tiger paired with Bradley, Kaymer to start PGA

Tiger Woods got his second look at the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island in South Carolina on Monday, playing a nine-hole practice round in preparation for this week’s 94th PGA Championship. Last week, he played 18 holes prior to competing in the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational in Akron, Ohio, where he tied for eighth.

Woods, No. 2 in the Official World Golf Ranking and the only three-time winner on the PGA Tour this year, has won four PGA Championships. The titles came in 1999, 2000, 2006 and 2007. Pairings were released Monday for the first two rounds. Tiger will play with Keegan Bradley, winner of Sunday’s WGC-Bridgestone Invitational, and Martin Kaymer of Germany. They are scheduled to start off the first tee on Thursday at 8:30 a.m. ET and off the 10th tee Friday at 1:40 p.m.

The 156-player field includes 32 major champions who have amassed 58 major titles. The top 108 players from the Official World Golf Ranking are entered.
