TGR Foundation launches Forward Together Campaign, celebrates Giving Tuesday

Tuesday, December 1 marks a global day of generosity that unites people around the world to support the causes they care about most and help non-profit organizations fund their future.

TGR Foundation joins the celebration as it approaches its 25th year anniversary, a new TGR Learning Lab at the Carol Kimmelman Academic and Athletic Campus in Los Angeles and expansion of its programs to reach millions of youth around the world. The foundation helps students explore pathways to career success through its signature STEM curricula, college preparation programs and educator development workshops.

“The path to career success looks different for everyone,” said Dr. Katherine Bihr, Vice President of Programs and Education. “Our programs expose youth to careers of today and tomorrow and help them develop the knowledge, skills and mindset to achieve their goals. Support from our community helps us continue providing free programs and resources for students in need.”

The Forward Together campaign highlights the importance of partnership and support from its community of donors, partners and volunteers. While financial contributions are most popular there are many ways to get involved in the Giving Tuesday movement and support TGR Foundation’s campaign.

“Everyone can be part of the campaign in a meaningful way,” said Michelle Kim, TGR Foundation’s Vice President of Strategic Partnerships. “In addition to raising funds to support our existing courses, we look forward to expanding our programmatic reach and impact.”

The Forward Together campaign ends on Thursday, December 31 at midnight. For more information on the campaign or to donate visit http://bit.ly/ForwardTogether-60.
