Rose to defend title against Tiger, THE PLAYERS champ Fowler and others in Quicken Loans National’s final field

The PGA TOUR confirmed Friday the final 120-player field for next week’s Quicken Loans National at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club, July 28-Aug. 2. The field will be playing for a purse of $6.7 million, including a top prize of $1.206 million.

Tiger Woods, the Quicken Loans National host, two-time tournament champion, 14-time major championship winner and 79-time PGA TOUR champ, is slated to compete alongside defending champion and World No. 5 Justin Rose – the highest-ranked player in the field as well as the 2013 U.S. Open and 2010 Quicken Loans National winner. Also in the field is 2015 THE PLAYERS champion and World No. 6 Rickie Fowler, who placed top-5 in all four major championships in 2014. Visit QLNational.com for ticket information.

“We have a solid field showcasing many PGA TOUR champions for next week’s Quicken Loans National and we are looking forward to a thrilling display of golf,” Quicken Loans National tournament director Mike Antolini said. “Fans are going to have a front-row seat to exciting competition, and we are grateful to the players’ support of the Tiger Woods Foundation and the event.”

In addition to Woods, Rose and Fowler, the following PGA TOUR standouts will be featured next week at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club:
