Four courses, four chances at glory

Three Tiger Woods Charity Playoffs regional tournaments are in the books with 72 players heading to the TWCP Finals in Orlando, Florida. With spots on the line to compete at the Four Seasons Resort, there are still four opportunities for players to grab their chance at glory, on and off the golf course.

SHERWOOD COUNTRY CLUB – Thousand Oaks, California – Sept. 15, 2014

Former home to the World Challenge, the Jack Nicklaus signature course has played host to the likes of Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Graeme McDowell, Jordan Spieth, Zach Johnson and many others. TWCP participants will compete on the same fairways as past World Challenge champions, while raising money for the Los Angeles Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs and the Tiger Woods Foundation.

PELICAN HILL GOLF CLUB – Newport Coast, California – Sept. 22, 2014

About a half hour away from the Tiger Woods Learning Center in Anaheim, California, and less than 15 minutes from the Tiger Woods Foundation headquarters in Irvine, California, one will find Pelican Hill Golf Club nestled off the Pacific Ocean shore. Competitors will have a front-row seat to the course’s stunning views and challenging Tom Fazio design.

Pelican Hill Golf Club’s South Course will host its first TWCP tournament, which benefits the college-access programs of the Tiger Woods Foundation, including the Tiger Woods Learning Centers and the Earl Woods Scholarship Program.

CASCATA – Las Vegas – Sept. 29, 2014

After an evening of bright lights, cards and dice, step outside for a day of golf at the TWCP at Cascata. The Rees Jones’ design winds through the mountains and desert terrain and has played host to Tiger Jam, an annual benefit concert and golf weekend hosted by Tiger Woods.

Spots are still available for the Cascata tournament and will benefit The First Tee of Southern Nevada, the Southern Nevada Golf Association and the Tiger Woods Foundation.

INNISBROOK RESORT – Tampa, Florida – Oct. 13, 2014

Your last shot to qualify for the TWCP Finals will tee up at Innisbrook Resort – Copperhead Course, the final installment of the TWCP regional qualifying tournaments. “The Snake Pit” at Innisbrook’s Copperhead Course will show its teeth and test every part of participants’ games on Nos. 16-18. But when players prevail on the course that hosts the PGA TOUR’s Valspar Championship, they will be rewarded with a spot at the TWCP Finals.

In addition to competing on one of the PGA TOUR stops, players will also give back to the community with Pepin Academies, The Jason Ackerman Foundation and the Tiger Woods Foundation as primary beneficiaries.
