Elevating the experience at the Tiger Woods Invitational

This year, the Tiger Woods Invitational presented by USLI has set up new interactive elements to exceed guest expectations.
As amateur golfers arrive to the Monterey Peninsula, they will be treated to the challenges of the golf course, Mother Nature’s beauty and all the first-class amenities of The Lodge at Pebble Beach. What they may not expect are some of the enhanced facets at this year’s event adding to the fun and the pro-style golf experience. One of the new items courtesy of FlightScope is that players in the field will use FlightScope’s radar technology to track the speed of their swings and distance of the ball on the range at Spyglass Hill Golf Course.
Amateurs will also be able to put their golf game to the test in new ways during their round at Pebble Beach Golf Links. FlightScope will host a closest-to-the-pin contest on hole #7 where golfers will compete to take home a FlightScope Mevo swing tracker.
This year’s event will also mark the first-time an amateur golfer will have the opportunity to try and hit a hole-in-one to win a brand-new Acura NSX on Pebble Beach’s iconic par-3, hole #17.
Guests will also be treated to epicurean delights like lobster corn dogs, gourmet wood fired pizzas and specialty street tacos. They will also experience menus from the heart of Salinas Valley and the rolling hills of Paso Robles.
Following each round, the classic 19th hole beverage will be reimagined thanks to our spirit partners, loft&bear artisanal vodka and Revel Agave tequila. Participants will also be treated to special tastings with Lagunitas Brewery and our featured wine partner, Far Niente.
The fun isn’t limited to the action on the course as the entertainment after the round also has some exciting elements. Guests have the opportunity to participate in an evening Glow Golf chipping contest onto the 18th green at Pebble Beach, trying their hand at Chippo Golf or playing ping-pong with Olympian Lily Zhang. In addition, they will attend a private golf exhibition and Q&A session featuring host Tiger Woods and PGA TOUR professional Kevin Chappell.
