Accomplished field of champions to compete at Quicken Loans National
Justin Rose will look to defend his title against 120 of golf’s best, including two-time winner Tiger Woods and 2015 The PLAYERS Championship winner Rickie Fowler, at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club, July 28- Aug. 2. The tournament is shaping up to be a thriller as these champions look to build momentum for the remainder of the season.
Tiger Woods
Woods will aim to be the first three-time winner of the tournament. He last claimed the title in 2012.
Rickie Fowler
Fowler, one of golf’s top stars, will play his second Quicken Loans National. He is currently ranked No. 9 in the Official World Golf Ranking.
Justin Rose
Rose is a two-time winner of the Quicken Loans National. He won in 2010 and 2014.
Vijay Singh
Singh will compete in his second Quicken Loans National after he tied for 34th in 2013. The 34-time PGA TOUR winner will seek another victory to add to his resume and has tallied three top-25 finishes this year.
Chris Kirk
Behind a strong 2014 campaign, Kirk captured his fourth TOUR victory at the 2015 Crowne Plaza Invitational. He has six top-15 finishes on his resume this year. Kirk will compete in his first Quicken Loans National.
Gary Woodland
Woodland will compete in his fourth Quicken Loans National, with his best finish tied for 16th in 2013. At No. 32 in the Official World Golf Ranking, Woodland’s 2015 campaign is highlighted by a finals appearance at the World Golf Championships-Cadillac Match Play against eventual champion Rory McIlroy.
