Take your ‘Shot for Heroes’

After Rickie Fowler kicked off the Quicken Loans Shot for Heroes at the National on Wednesday, fans and players at the Quicken Loans National now have the opportunity to take their shot from a custom-built 19th hole or par-3 at Congressional Country Club for a chance to raise up to $10,000 for charity. All proceeds raised from the Quicken Loans Shot For Heroes will benefit Operation Homefront and the Tiger Woods Foundation. The Shot for Heroes tee box is located between the clubhouse and 18 green on the fairway of the first hole of the Gold Course.

Taking your Shot for Heroes is free for all fans. Fans can take a Shot for Heroes each day of the Quicken Loans National from Wednesday, June 22, at 3 p.m. through Sunday, June 26.

Prizing for the Shot for Heroes includes:

  • $10,000 donated to charities and $10,000 awarded to each golfer or fan who aces the hole
  • $100 donated to charities if a shot lands within 14 feet of the pin
  • $10 donated to charities for each participant who attempts a shot

Each participant will have two attempts at getting the ball on the green to help raise money for military veterans and families.

Make sure to take your Shot for Heroes at the Quicken Loans National.
