Are you ready to hear the roar? Or would you rather lower the boom? Either way, the start of Genesis Open week will be unlike any other as Tiger Woods and Fred Couples bring celebrity golf to The Riviera Country Club for the inaugural Celebrity Cup.

The hallowed grounds of Riviera are no stranger to celebrities testing their game. Home to Hollywood legends like Humphrey Bogart and Katharine Hepburn, and the site of a championship won by some of golf’s greats including Ben Hogan and Sam Snead, Riviera is a legend on its own. Add in the star power of Tiger Woods and two-time winner at Riv, Fred Couples along with a group of celebrity golfers and you have the makings of a memorable event.

The inaugural Celebrity Cup, hosted by Tiger, will tee it up Monday, February 11, 2019, at The Riviera Country Club, home of the Genesis Open. This special event will bring together two teams comprised of six celebrities each to square off for the Cup. Team Eldrick, captained by Tiger Woods, and Team Frederick, captained by Fred Couples, will square off against each other in a team match play on Riv’s closing nine.

Tiger and Fred will set the pairings and put their plans in place in search of raising the Celebrity Cup.
