Do you have what it takes to win the Volunteer Challenge?
In 2015, 13-year-old Bryce Corbett won the Quicken Loans National Volunteer Challenge and presented a $10,000 check to the Tiger Woods Foundation. The Quicken Loans National Volunteer Challenge gives tournament volunteers like Bryce a chance to raise money for the foundation while participating in a friendly election. The Volunteer Challenge encourages volunteers of all ages to get involved and garner the most votes to win it all.
With a will to succeed and a passion for golf, Bryce won the 2015 Volunteer Challenge by a landslide after his social media campaign went viral. For Bryce, the best part of the experience was winning the money for the Tiger Woods Foundation.
“It made me feel great, even though I wasn’t personally donating it. I felt great about being a part of this experience,” Bryce said.
For every vote Quicken Loans National volunteers receive, $1 will be donated to the Tiger Woods Foundation (up to $10,000). Fans can also vote for the tournament as a whole. Volunteering at the Quicken Loans National gives you the opportunity to enter and win the challenge while raising awareness for the Tiger Woods Foundation.
“The Volunteer Challenge is a great opportunity for volunteers to get involved with the tournament on another level,” Bryce’s father Scott Corbett said. “We posted about it on Facebook and explained that it would only take a minute or two. It kind of took on a world of its own. People were sharing, commenting and really supporting our son.”
