Bluejack National named best new private golf course

Sports Illustrated/Golf Magazine has named Bluejack National, located north of Houston, as the “best new private golf course” of 2016.

Bluejack National, home to the only Tiger Woods-designed golf course in the United States, was praised by the publication for the “fun, option-filled track that emphasizes width, angles, contours and recoverability, all in a handsome, oak-dotted, rolling canvas.” 

The luxury family resort features an 18-hole golf course, a 10-hole short course (The Playgrounds) as well as many other luxury amenities available to members and residents. The club is limited to 550 memberships, and the resort-style community offers 400 home sites.

Bluejack National was developed by Dallas-based Beacon Land Development and Lantern Asset Management in partnership with Tiger Woods’s TGR Design.
