2016 Quicken Loans National Volunteer Challenge
It’s time to declare your National Volunteer Day, and there’s no better time to do so than during National Volunteer Week. As part of National Volunteer Week, we are kicking off the 2016 Quicken Loans National Volunteer Challenge!
The Quicken Loans National Volunteer Challenge helps to raise money for the Tiger Woods Foundation while tournament volunteers participate in a hands-on election race. For every vote, $1 will be donated to the Tiger Woods Foundation (up to $10,000 dollars). Vote for the Quicken Loans National and help raise money for the Tiger Woods Foundation.
From April 11-May 1, the Quicken Loans National Volunteer Challenge will be holding a primary election where tournament volunteers can register as an election candidate on the website and collect as many votes as they can. After the primary election is over, a general election will take place from May 2-June 20, where volunteers with the most votes will be featured on social media to boost campaigning efforts. Volunteers will be able to enter as a candidate until polling week, June 20-25, when the three volunteers with the most votes will enter the final election. The winner of the Volunteer Challenge will be announced during tournament week at the Quicken Loans National.
The winner of the Volunteer Challenge will receive: Tiger Woods autographed Quicken Loans National memorabilia and tournament gear, two invitations to the 18th green closing ceremony, an upgraded 2017 Quicken Loans National ticket package for four and complimentary volunteer registration for 2017. An additional $10,000 will be awarded to the winner, in which he or she will present it to the Tiger Woods Foundation in front of friends, family and players.
