With This Victory: Tiger’s fifth title at Memorial

Earns his 73rd career PGA TOUR victory at the age of 36 years, 5 months and 4 days in his 283rd (269th professional) career start on TOUR. The 73 victories equal Jack Nicklaus for second all-time on the PGA TOUR trailing only Sam Snead (82).

Wins for the second time on the PGA TOUR in 2012 (Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by MasterCard), marking the 13th season in which he had posted multiple victories.

Joins Hunter Mahan (World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship, Shell Houston Open) and Jason Dufner (Zurich Classic of New Orleans, HP Byron Nelson Championship) as multiple winners on the PGA TOUR in 2012.

Thirteen players in their 30s have accounted for 15 wins on the PGA TOUR in 2012 (24 events).

Wins the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the Memorial Tournament in the same season for the fourth time in his career (2000, 2001, 2009 and 2012).

First player to win the Memorial Tournament five times (1999, 2000, 2001, 2009 and 2012). Kenny Perry won the Memorial Tournament three times (1991, 2003, 2008) while Jack Nicklaus (1977, 1984), Tom Watson (1979, 1996), Hale Irwin (1983, 1985) and Greg Norman (1990, 1995) all won twice.
