Tiger triumphs as sun shines at Quicken Loans National

The sun wasn’t the only thing heating up on the second day of play at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club. 

Clear skies and warm weather made for a beautiful day of professional golf at the Quicken Loans National. 

Thursday’s opening round brought exceptional golf, including two aces on the day. The first by Ryo Ishikawa on the fourth hole, and the second by Rickie Fowler with a walk-off on the ninth hole. 

And today was no disappointment either, as the play on course started heating up by none other than the tournament host himself. After finishing his first round at 3-under, all eyes were on Tiger to see if he could continue climbing the leaderboard. Tiger went on to score six birdies and finish his second round at 5-under par.
