On October 31 at 1pm ET, join the Tiger Woods Foundation, Discovery Education and TGR EDU: Explore as we take viewers on an exclusive, behind-the-scenes virtual experience to Silicon Valley powerhouse Facebook.
Offered at no cost, our virtual field trip, Career Connections: Transforming Passion into Purpose at Facebook, offers students, teachers and families a look at the STEM careers that are shaping our present and driving our future.
Facebook builds products to make the world more open and connected, and this means drawing from a team that understands and reflects a broad range of experience, thought, geography, age and background. Hear from experts in software and infrastructure engineering, product design and data security to learn how hands-on work in the classroom can lead to engaging careers that create positive change.
Our virtual field trip will also take viewers inside the TGR Learning Lab in Anaheim, California. Meet educators and students and listen in as they discuss a wide range of topics from crafting a college personal statement to designing a video game.
